Today after morning tea we had a special assembly in the hall, visitors from The NEXT Foundation and WFRC. The visitors were here to talk about the Summer Learning Journey and the film they made about Panmure Bridge School (starring Daniel). There were other students from LS2 that were also featured in the movie. After the special assembly we had a special lunch that was provided by The NEXT Foundation. We had a enjoyable day and fun time today and are looking forward to completing the Summer Learning Journey activities during the summer holidays.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Christmas in Canada
To celebrate Christmas we got into groups of four and worked collaboratively to find out about Christmas in different countries all around the world. My group worked on Canada and we found a lot of interesting things about Canada and what they do differently from New Zealand. In Canadian another name for Santa is Joulupikki or Father frost. To show our learning we recorded our google drawing using screencastify. I worked on this DLO with Shannon, Joshua and Magenta.

Panmure Bridge School - leadership
Yesterday afternoon San Kyaw, Joushua V, Freeman and I took photos on how we can show leadership next year. We chose two things that we can do next year to show that we are leaders. The two things we chose were Making sure that people are ok and not hurt, making sure everyone knows what to do. This was a great opportunity to co-operate with the people in my class. This is what we think teamwork look's like in Panmure Bridge School.

Tamaki College Digital Library
Today LS2 went on the Tamaki College Digital Library to focus on our Reading skills and knowledge. There books of Fiction, Non Fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy and also Mystery and Suspense. I went on Mystery and Suspense and read a book called The Missing Mitt written by Franklin W. Dixon. The part I have just read up to was about two boys name Joe and Franklin who were getting ready for their baseball finals. They are running late but luckily Joe knows a faster way to the park.

Dance
Today at dance we had to improve and add moves into our dance. Our timing had to be right with our sharp angles in it we also had to have a good music choice and lastly with smooth changes. After that we had to video our dance in our groups with our music choice. I found exciting because we had to video ourselves.
Inquiry
Today we had to write our opinions on how we should help to stop littering rubbish around schools. We had different opinions but had to pick one of our best without talking or arguing. Our opinions was to come school without packaged lunch.

Dance
Today in Dance Sanujan and I had to practise our warm ups with our songs to perform to our group. In our warm ups we did toe kicks, star jumps, burpies and Russian twists. After that we had to make another dance using shapes, waves and different heights. Our dance moves were in different angles in 45 degrees Sanujan and I has been using geometrical shapes. I found this hard because I had to move like a robot.

Kokako Lodge
Ofa, Jericho, Joshua and I made a brochure to give people good idea of places to go. This is my inside and outside of my brochure. It shows how it looks and the cool activities I hope people choose to go to Kokako Lodge.
Camp Diary
Today I transferred my Personal Camp Diary into a presentation. We had to do this because when we get older we can still access our Camp Diary instead of putting it in a book and getting it lost the next day I think this was a good idea because I will want to remember this day again.
