Independent Reading task


In reading we were reading a book named starting with strings we predicted what kind of
text it was.We narrated the story and acted it out.I got 5 out of 10 because I got some
right.

Methods


In Maths we learnt 3 techniques to solve Multiplication equations
 every group had 1 technique Taupo had the Algorithm Wakatipu had the
Korean method and Wanaka had the Japanese method we shared our
techniques to each other.People learnt how to use it by using decimal points now Mataio and I are masters at all 3 techniques.LI: To teach the Korean Method

Empire State Building


In Writing I wrote a narrative about the Empire State Building
this was my decision for a narritive prompt.I learnt all the Narrative
features and that a narritive is a Fiction story.

Neymar


In LS1 we had to pick a olympian athlete and research question for the 5 Ws and H
My athlete was Neymar he played soccer.His International team was Brazil
and his club was Barcelona.Neymar scored 39 goals total(22 in La Liga, 10 in the Champions League and 7 in the Spanish Cup).

Robber's mask

I
n reading we were reading a book named the robber's mask the book was about
a dog named Cassie who found a robber's mask around the neighborhood and the 2 robber's
lived in a burnt out house.In the story their were some hard words when we were scanning the text
their were hard words like Sooty,Reluctantly,Sarcastically and tingle.We made a word web about
the hard words.After reading the text we made a DLO and showed what we had to find and do during reading the story and after readong.LI: To find the most important (main) idea in a text.


How to make a Poi Planning


We watched a video to how to make a poi we listen to the
video and wrote the steps we used TMPS to how to make Poi.

Diet


In Inquiry we learnt the diet of Long Distance runners and Weightlifters we wrote how much Protein,
Carbohydrates and Fat they need at the bottom we wrote what they need more.LI: to learn about tailored diets for different needs.

Korean and Japanese Method


Fraidon and I learnt all kinds of method but today I learnt how to use the
Korean method and Fraidon learnt the Japanese method with Wanaka.

Inquiry


In Inquiry I am learning about Diet I have been working on protein
we learnt about carbohydrates,vitamin/minerals and fats.I put it on
1 whole slide and made a DLO

Writing DLO


LI: to understand the role of verbs in procedural texts.
Task:
we were reading to different text and we were finding all the verbs
and compound verbs.

Word webs


LI: to find the most important (main) idea in a text.
we were reading the book name the robbers mask we
scanned the text and found the words we don't
know.While we were scanning we had to predict
what the text was and find the evidence.

Brochure Maths

LI: Applying our Knowledge and Strategy tool kit to real world problems.we were using newspapers and shops to find items and add together we added it together and takeaway it from 5,000 because that was how much money we had.
