WALT: I am learning to add three or more numbers by first making up pairs that add up to 10.

1. 6 + 2 + 4 =12     6+4=10    10+2=12   
2. 8 + 5 + 2 =15     8+2=10     10+5=15
3. 8 + 1 + 9 + 2 =20  9+1=10  8+1=10  10+10=20
4. 1 + 5 + 5 + 9 = 20   5+5=10  9+1=10   10+10=10
5. 4 + 6 + 4 + 9 + 6 = 29 double 4=8    double 6=12  12+8=20  20+9=29
